I have been dog training in the mid-coast region for the past 25 yrs and been professionally teaching for close to 30 yrs.
Dog behaviors has become a passion and helping people understand those behaviors in a positive way.
The big reward is having owners and dogs come to class and leave with a relationship, understanding and most important enjoy that new found bond that has developed along the way! Currently my dogs and I are competing in agility with the emphasis of obedience.
In the past we have been competing in obedience, conformation as well as dabbling in tracking.
I am a C.G.C. evaluator and instruct agility, obedience and conformation from a novice level to competitive with an emphasis on handling. Many current students are competing in agility, obedience and conformation, how fun it is to see beginners title their dogs in so many different venues and become as passionate as I am about the health and enjoyment that our fur kids can give us!
